With no rain delays or further weather issues, the workout began as scheduled.

Elite Teams Event 2: Recap & Leaderboard
The competition day continued with the second workout of the day called “Worms Can’t Swim,” which proved to be quite the challenge for the teams that won the previous event. For this second workout, the athletes had to:
For time:
- 30 Worm Clean & Jerk
- Athlete One — Swim
- Athletes Two & Three — 50 Syncro Burpees (over the worm)
- 20 Worm Clean & Jerk
- Athlete Two — Swim
- Athletes One & Three — 50 Syncro Burpees (over the worm)
- 10 Worm Clean & Jerk
- Athlete Three — Swim
- Athletes One & Two — 50 Syncro Burpees (over the worm)
- Five Worm Clean & Jerk
With a time cap of 24 minutes.
When it came to strategies during the second event, the most important one proved to be whether athletes were to wear shoes while lifting the worm or remain barefoot and also whether to have the best or worst swimmer start first. In the end, the female athletes from Team Rx Performance seemed to have gotten it right, as they had their weakest swimmer head into the water first and the best one go in last, which gave them the needed boost to go out and win the event with a significant lead.
On the men’s side, the competition was also heated as Complex Wodex maintained the top spot for most of the workout until the third round, when Team Piscil emerged as the winner, thanks to their final swim effort.
