This competition day was quite unusual in the 45-kg weight class: there were just two participants who needed to settle between themselves who would win gold and who would be a silver medalist.

So, the gold winner became Won Hyon Sim who got a gold medal in Snatch of 82 kg, Clean&Jerk of 99 kg, and 181 kg total.

The second place moved to a lifter from the Philippines, Ramos Amis Rose Jean who performed a total of 155 kg, 70 kg in Snatch, and 85 kg in Clean&Jerk.
