The IWF World Cup in Thailand is already underway, and it will serve as the final qualifying opportunity for the Paris Olympic Games. With athletes driven to excel, anticipation runs high, and we’ve already seen a few records being broken.

As per tradition, the competition began with the lightweight categories, but now we’re going further, and yesterday, during the men’s 73 kg category, some of the standout favorites demonstrated their prowess with remarkable performances.

Rahmat Erwin Abdullah is a known name in the world of weightlifting, and we’re used to expecting solid results from him.

He kicked off his competition day by getting his second-best Snatch result ever – 160 kg and winning the bronze medal for that lift. Abdullah’s performance continued to be great throughout the day, as he lifted 195 kg on the Clean & Jerk, winning the silver medal behind his Indonesian teammate.
