Kaged Ferodrox Review (2024)
In this Kaged Ferodrox review, we’ll be taking a look at Kaged’s signature testosterone booster supplement.
Overall, this supplement does contain several effective ingredients for boosting testosterone including Ashwagandha, Tongkat Ali, and Zinc. However, you may be hesitant to try this supplement because of the lack of research surrounding some of its ingredients, namely Tongkat Ali.
With that being said, let’s take a closer look at this supplement so you can decide if it’s right for you!
Kaged Ferodrox Review Quick Summary:
Kaged Ferodrox
- Form: Capsules
- Best For: Testosterone Support
- Caffeine: 0 mg
- Special Ingredients: Ashwagandha, Tongkat Ali, Zinc

Kaged is a supplement company founded in 2015 that’s quickly become one of the most popular, and consistently high-quality supplement brands out there. Some of their signature products include their Pre-Kaged pre-workout and their Whey Protein Isolate. Today we’ll be looking at Ferodrox, which is Kaged’s signature testosterone booster.
Its main ingredient is Ashwagandha, which has been shown to reduce cortisol and boost test as a result. Its other main ingredient is Tongkat Ali which may also be beneficial for testosterone production. Zinc may also likely help with testosterone if you struggle to get enough of this nutrient, as low levels of zinc have been related to low testosterone.
Overall, we believe this supplement will be beneficial for moderately improving testosterone, especially in those with some impairment, such as hypogonadism or androgen deficiency. The ingredients likely won’t have a major effect on people with heavy levels of testosterone.
Also, we recommend exercising caution with this supplement because of ingredients with a relatively low amount of research surrounding them like Tongkat Ali.

Who and What is Kaged Ferodrox For?
Kaged Ferodrox may be a good supplement for anybody concerned about their testosterone levels. If you’re unsure what your levels are, consider talking with your doctor about getting a blood test to check your levels.
It’s worth noting there are many ways to boost testosterone levels without the use of a supplement. Things like exercise, diet, sleep quality, and alcohol/tobacco consumption can greatly impact your test levels, so consider optimizing your lifestyle before trying a supplement like this.
Kaged Ferodrox Review
1. Ingredient Breakdown
Below we’ll be taking a look at the 3 main ingredients of this supplement: Ashwagandha, Tongkat Ali, and Zinc.
As you’ll see, these will all have varying effectiveness for boosting testosterone. Let’s get into it!
• Ashwagandha
First, Ashwagandha is likely the most powerful active ingredient in Ferodrox for boosting testosterone. Ashwagandha appears to be especially effective for reducing cortisol, which in turn helps improve sleep quality and may boost testosterone. Ashwagandha has also been shown to possibly improve male fertility.
Ferodrox contains 600mg of Ashwagandha, which is a clinically-supported dose. While more research on Ashwagandha for testosterone is likely needed to make any definitive conclusions, it’s worth noting the supplement is considered to be completely safe for human consumption.
• Tongkat Ali
Tongkat Ali, similar to Ashwagandha, is an herbal supplement traditionally used for testosterone. There is some research to support its use specifically for men with low testosterone, with minimal effects in men with higher test levels. Ferodrox includes 200mg of Tongkat Ali per serving, which has been shown in studies to help with testosterone when taken daily.
While Tongkat Ali does appear to be largely safe for human consumption, there is a lack of research surrounding its long-term use. As a result, we recommend exercising caution with this supplement, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions.
• Zinc
Finally, Ferodrox also includes Zinc, which may be beneficial for test levels especially if you’re deficient in this nutrient. However, similar to Tongkat Ali, it will be unlikely to have a major effect on testosterone if you already get enough zinc in your diet.
2. Stimulation
This supplement does not contain any caffeine or other stimulants so it will not provide any stimulation whatsoever.
3. Taste/Flavor
Ferodrox is a capsule-based supplement so it’s completely unflavored. Reviews on Kaged’s website do suggest the capsules are a good size and are very easy to swallow!
4. Nutrition Label Transparency
Ferodrox’s nutrition label is very clear and is made from all-natural ingredients. However, keep in mind that ingredients like Tongkat Ali aren’t very well-researched. As a result, you may still want to exercise caution when taking this supplement, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions.
5. Value for Money
Each serving of this supplement will cost you about ~$1.67, which is fairly expensive. This is especially true considering all the main ingredients included here would be fairly cheap to buy on their own instead.
How Do You Use Kaged Ferodrox?
Overall, we only recommend the use of Kaged Ferodrox and other testosterone boosters once you’ve consulted with your doctor about your test levels. This will give you a better idea of where you’re at, and if there are any lifestyle changes you can make to naturally boost your test.
With that being said, a supplement like this may help you with things like stress control, sleep quality, and zinc intake.
However, because of the lack of research surrounding ingredients like Tongkat Ali, we still recommend consulting with your doctor before use.
1 serving a day should be well-tolerated by most people, and may provide some benefits to your test levels, especially if they’re low.
Kaged Ferodrox Alternatives
Below we’ll be taking a look at a few other popular testosterone boosters, namely those from Transparent Labs and Prime Labs. This way you can compare their formulas, and make a more informed choice about which is right for you.
1. Kaged Ferodrox vs Transparent Labs Testosterone Booster
Transparent Labs Testosterone Booster
- Form: Capsules
- Servings per Container: 30
- Serving Size: 2 Capsules
- Special Ingredients: Zinc, Organic Ashwagandha Root Extract
- Price per serving: ~$1.83
First, let’s take a look at Transparent Labs Test Booster. All things considered, this has a nearly identical formula to Ferodrox, using Ashwagandha, Tongkat Ali, and Zinc as its main ingredients. However, this is a slightly more expensive supplement, costing about ~$1.83 per serving.
2. Kaged Ferodrox vs Prime Labs Testosterone Booster
Prime Labs Testosterone Booster
- Form: Caplet
- Best For: Energy Management, Muscle Growth
- Servings per Container: 60 count
- Flavor: Unflavored
- Primary Supplement Type: Calcium
Next, Prime Labs’ Testosterone Booster has a much different formula from Ferodrox and Transparent Labs. While it does still contain Tongkat Ali, it doesn’t contain Ashagandha and Zinc, which, in our opinion, are much more well-researched ingredients. It instead contains several other herbal ingredients including Horny Goat Weed, Nettle, and more. It’s worth noting this is the cheapest supplement we’ve covered at only ~$0.67.
FAQ
What Age is Good for Testosterone Boosters?
Overall, we recommend basing the use of a testosterone booster more on your actual test levels rather than what age you are. Additionally, you’re likely better off looking for natural solutions to low testosterone such as exercise and better sleep before relying on a supplement.
With this being said, you’re more likely to have lower test levels as you get older. As a result, Kaged specifically recommends Ferodrox for those over 30, who are at a greater risk of having low test levels.
When Should I Take a Test Booster?
We recommend consulting with your doctor and getting blood work done if you’re concerned about your testosterone levels. If your levels are low, there are plenty of things you can do to help naturally boost your test. This includes exercising, getting better sleep, and cutting out tobacco and alcohol.
Consult with your doctor about test boosters like Kaged Muscle Ferodrox, and whether they may be beneficial for you. This will help you better monitor your progress, as well as avoid any potential health risks associated with these supplements.
What are some Ferodrox Side Effects?
It’s difficult to say if you will experience any side effects from this Kaged test booster. Some people have noted minor side effects from Tongkat Ali, including gastrointestinal distress and itching. Ashwagandha has been linked to some gastrointestinal issues as well.
Overall, we recommend consulting with your doctor before using Ferodrox, especially if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.
Conclusion
Overall, we believe this Kaged Muscle testosterone booster will be beneficial, especially for those with low testosterone. This is thanks to ingredients like Ashwagandha, Tongkat Ali, and Zinc. However, when it comes to Tongkat Ali, we do recommend exercising caution as there is limited research available on its long-term use in humans.
It’s worth noting that supplements like this shouldn’t be your first line of defense against low testosterone. Instead, consider making some lifestyle changes related to sleep, diet, and exercise, first.
However, if you’re interested in trying Kaged’s Ferodrox, we recommend doing so under a doctor’s supervision. Not only will this help you better monitor your progress, but it will also limit any risks associated with this supplement. We hope our Kaged Ferodrox reviews can help you make a more informed decision!
