The Full Breakdown of the 2024 CrossFit Games Season Schedule

The 2024 CrossFit Games season is meticulously structured, beginning with the CrossFit Open on February 29, 2024. Participants from around the globe will commence their journey in the Open, with the goal of ranking in a qualifying percentile to advance to the Quarterfinals.

The Open Schedule will be like that:

  • 24.1 workout – February 29 – March 3
  • 24.2 workout – March 7-11
  • 24.3 workout – March 14-18

Athletes must compete in every workout to advance throughout the season.

Success in the Quarterfinals can lead to the Semifinals and, eventually, the CrossFit Games, which include Individual, Team, and Age Group divisions.

The Adaptive divisions, catering to athletes with various physical impairments, will expand to 15 categories and be part of the WheelWOD competition, now in its 11th year. Registration for the Open, which spans three weeks, commences on January 9, 2024.

The CrossFit season progresses with three Open workouts over three weeks, leading to the Quarterfinals. Athletes compete in seven regions worldwide. In the Quarterfinals, the top 25% of individuals and teams from each region, with at least 50 athletes per division, progress. A minimum of 200 athletes from each age group also advance.

The Semifinals will see the top 40 individual men and women, and the top 30 teams from each region compete in person. The top 200 athletes from each age group and the top 20 from each adaptive division will vie for a spot at the Games through virtual Semifinals.

The Semifinals will run through seven regions: Asia, Africa, Oceania, South America, North America East, North America West, Europe.

The final CrossFit Games event will be held this year in Fort Worth, Texas, 8-11 of August for both teams and individuals.

The Games will feature a diverse array of competitors, including masters and teenage athletes in various sub-divisions based on age, and adaptive athletes across multiple divisions tailored to different physical challenges. These divisions offer inclusivity and a competitive platform for a wide range of participants.

In the previous season, over 320,000 athletes from 180 countries participated, reflecting the global reach and popularity of the CrossFit Games.
