“Breaking Olympia” a new documentary, captures the ambition of Phil Heath, a seven-time Mr. Olympia champion, as showcased in its trailer that hit the Internet on November 2, 2023.
The film is a production of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s Seven Buck Productions and highlights Heat`s pursuit of an historic eight Mr. Olympia title and achievement that would place him alongside the legendary Ronnie Coleman and Lea Haney.

The documentary hence it’s a dramatic return for Heath to the Mr. Olympia competition. It’s features appearances by bodybuilding stars such as Ronnie Coleman, Jay Cutler, Dexter Jackson, Brendan Curry and Kai Greene – Heath`s famed rival and three times second-place finisher at Mr. Olympia.
“Breaking Olympia” chronicles Heath`s dominant era from 2011 to 2017 and delves into the severe injury that almost derailed his career, leading into a deeply challenging period in his life.
Ahead of his potential comeback, Heath`s rigorous training regimen is evident. On October 19, 2023 he posted an update, showing a 5-pound weight gain, displaying a physique that boasts chiseled abs, substantial traps and his trademark – robust arms.
Phil Heath`s most recent Mr. Olympia participation resulted in a second-place finish to Shawn Rhoden in 2018 and the third-place standing in 2020 with Mahmoud “Big Ramy ” Elssbiay claiming the title. The much anticipated “Breaking Olympia” directed by Brett Harvey is expected to make it to the booth in early 2024.
